How to Join
GalaxySMP supports both editions of Minecraft. Java Edition runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. Bedrock Edition runs on phones, tablets, consoles and Windows (Microsoft Store).
- Launch Minecraft: Java Edition, version or newer.
- Select Multiplayer, then Add Server.
- Enter
GalaxySMPas the server name and paste the server address. - Select Done, then double-click GalaxySMP in your server list.
- Launch Minecraft and select Play.
- Open the Servers tab and select Add Server at the bottom.
- Enter
GalaxySMPas the server name, followed by the address and port. - Select Save, then choose GalaxySMP and select Join Server.
Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch don't support adding custom servers directly. Our staff can help you connect. Ask in the #help channel.
Checking
GalaxySMP is private for now
We're currently running on a private Minecraft Realm while we move to our own server. The Realm is invite only, and we aren't accepting invite requests at this time.
Already have an invite?
- Java: open Minecraft: Java Edition, select Minecraft Realms, accept the GalaxySMP invite, then choose Play.
- Bedrock: open Minecraft, select Play, then accept the invite from your notifications or the Realms tab.
Coming soon: when GalaxySMP opens to everyone on our own server, you'll be able to join with a server address on any device. This page will update automatically.
Getting started
Choose a game mode
You will arrive in the hub. Select any NPC to travel to Survival, Minigames, Skyblock or Creative.
Community chat
Website accounts are confirmed with an in-game command, which Realms don't support. Sign-up opens as soon as we move to our own server.
Join the community
Create an account on the Community page, then confirm it in game with /link and your code.
Having trouble connecting? Confirm the server is online on the Status page, check that the address is entered exactly as shown, and make sure Minecraft is up to date.
